The sign over the door is now read by machines.
People used to see the sign, the hours on the door and the shop window. Today the first visit happens on a phone: the person asks Google or ChatGPT, and whoever answers builds the answer by reading websites, looking for name, address, hours, services and prices.
If that information lives only in an old Instagram post, a photo of the menu or a website nobody has touched since 2019, the machine doesn’t find it, or gets it wrong. And it recommends the business next door, which it can read.
The e-commerce section is about stores that sell online and want to be read by shopping agents. This page is for businesses that sell at the counter and need to be chosen before the customer leaves home.
Three pieces, one service.
The website, built for local search
- One page per service and per neighbourhood or town you serve: that is how you show up for "dental implants in Moinhos de Vento".
- Local business structured data: name, address, phone, hours, service area and services, in the format Google and AI read directly.
- Fast on mobile, where almost every local search happens.
- Ready for AI: frequent questions answered in the text, "from" prices where it makes sense, the door open to search and AI crawlers.
- WhatsApp, call and directions one tap away, every click counted.
The dashboard, to update it yourself
- Hours, holidays, services, prices and photos: change them in the dashboard and they show on the website and in the data Google reads.
- Coupons that open WhatsApp with the code, so you know who came from the website.
- Contacts this month: WhatsApp clicks, calls and direction requests, by page.
- Access by link, no password to forget; add the front desk or your partner.
- Need a bigger change? Message us on WhatsApp, no ticket required.
The analysis, every month
- Google search: how often you showed up, for which terms, in what position, and what changed since last month.
- AI answers: we run the questions your customers ask ("best dentist in…", "where to fix brakes in…") on ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity and show when you are cited.
- Contacts and visits, split by source.
- Technical health: mobile speed, broken pages, inconsistent data.
- Three actions for next month, ranked by return. We do the website ones; the ones that depend on you come explained.
Not theory: we run local directories.
Stickybit runs local search directories at scale, built with the same technique that goes into your website: pages by city, neighbourhood and category, structured data on every listing, and a dashboard where owners update their own page.
That is where what we know about local search comes from, including what doesn’t work: what Google indexes and what it ignores, which pages bring contacts and what AI assistants cite.
Selling in a cart or at the counter?
Online store
- The customer buys on the website, with a catalogue, a cart and shipping.
- The risk is that a shopping agent can’t read your catalogue and picks a competitor.
- The work is making product data, price and stock machine-readable.
Local business
- The customer comes to you, or you go to them: clinic, restaurant, garage, salon, school, service provider.
- The risk is not showing up in "near me", on the map and in the AI answer.
- The work is the local website, the dashboard to keep it right and the monthly analysis. That is this page.
It starts free, then it’s monthly.
Send us your website or Instagram. We show what Google and AI find about your business today, and what is missing.
We survey what people search for in your area, by service and by neighbourhood. That defines the website’s pages.
We build, publish and switch on measurement. You get the dashboard link and a short how-to.
The report arrives by WhatsApp or e-mail. We make the website changes and talk through the rest.
What people always ask.
Do I have to give up Instagram?
No. Instagram is still where you talk to people who already know you. The website is where people who don’t know you yet find you, and your profile now points to it.
Do you guarantee I’ll show up on ChatGPT or at the top of Google?
Nobody can honestly guarantee that. We guarantee what can be checked: that the website is fast, readable and complete, that Google and AI can read all of it, and we measure every month where you show up, with the number.
What about my Google Business Profile?
It stays yours and it matters for the map. We check that name, address, phone and hours match on the website and the profile, and the monthly analysis flags when something drifts or when reviews go unanswered.
Are the website and the domain in my name?
Yes. The domain is registered in your name and the content is yours. If you ever want to leave, we hand everything over to whoever you choose.
I work in healthcare. Is there anything special?
Yes. We follow the advertising rules of the Brazilian medical and dental councils (CFM, CFO) and the other professional bodies: no promised results, no before-and-after where the council forbids it, and your professional registration visible.
How much does it cost?
It is a monthly fee that depends on the number of services, locations and towns served. The free reading already includes the proposal, with no commitment.
Search where place matters: "near me", "downtown", "in Canoas". Google shows the map and a few websites; AI cites only a few names.
Business information written in a format machines read without guessing: name, address, hours, services. More in the glossary
When an assistant mentions your business in its answer. We measure it with a fixed set of questions, repeated every month, so months can be compared.
Where this might be wrong.
AI changes its answers
The same question can cite different names from one day to the next. That is why we measure a fixed set of questions every month and look at the trend, not a single answer.
A website doesn’t replace reputation
Reviews, time in business and word of mouth weigh on the map and on the choice. The website makes you readable; it doesn’t invent what the business doesn’t have.
It takes time
New pages usually take weeks to be indexed and longer to gain position. The first reports show more of the foundation being laid than new contacts.
The specimen numbers are examples
The dashboard and report on this page are illustrative. Your numbers come from your website, from Google and from our measurement, and can be very different.
